Gabrielle Alizay has had many lives--competitive athlete, professional musician, and bed and breakfast owner. Nearly twenty years ago, however, the art and science of Feng Shui luckily drew its "wind-water" Chinese symbol over her consciousness and she has been hopelessly in love with it ever since.

After studying the various schools of Feng Shui, she chose to focus on the Black Hat Tibetan Feng Shui, brought to America in 1982 by Master Lin Yun. Gabrielle identifies strongly with the Black Hat ways of bringing intention into every action of the Feng Shui practice. She believes that it is the performance of intention that brings the heartbeat into every Feng Shui shift made in the dwelling. Gaining her Black Hat Tibetan Feng Shui educational background through courses taught by Carol Bridges, who has a Feng Shui school on the East coast, Gabrielle has also studied the books of Sarah Rossbach, Karen Carter, and Karen Kingston. She has participated in the monthly Feng Shui Conference Calls, which feature important Feng Shui teachers and consultants, and in general, stays current with all Feng Shui developments as they become available.

Gabrielle finds her greatest educational experience has come from actually being a Feng Shui consultant and lecturer. She has done hundreds of consultations internationally, both on-site and by phone, and has given countless classes, workshops, and talks on the subject of Feng Shui. Over time, she has watched how the tool of intentional Feng Shui performed in the dwelling brings solutions and manifest goals in her client’s lives. Thus, her goal is to take the complication out of the Feng Shui mystique and encourage people to embrace their own styles, their own culture, their own empowerment, and at the same time, learn to use this fantastic tool of Feng Shui for the betterment of their lives.
