Feng Shui and Chocolate
Now that I have your attention, let's get some of the "misconceptions"
out of the way first:
1. "Feng Shui" is a funny word with a bizarre spelling. How
do I pronounce it correctly, and most importantly, why should
I?
Okay, this is a Chinese word that is the name for an ancient
belief system about how to arrange your living and working space
to be in harmony with Nature, thus supporting your life in wonderful
ways. Imagine the word "fun" and add a "g" to that. First word
covered. Now, get up and move your hips from side to side. Sway.
That's the second word. Fung Sway. Are we having Feng yet?
To address the second part of the question, if your life on
Planet Earth has anything to do with a Career, Health, Self
Cultivation, Wealth, Reputation, Love, Children, and Helpful
People, then Feng Shui might be right for you and can absolutely
help any problem in one or all of these areas. And it is just
not for blocks; Feng Shui can enhance any of these areas of
your home and office, making it feel incredibly good.
2. I heard that you have to be a witch, and into that New Age
crap to want a Feng Shui consultation!
Actually, the sweet thing about Feng Shui is that you can use
any belief system to provide the "Cures" (Feng Shui ideologies
and tools to fix space imbalances) to your environment. For
instance, if you breathe fire for a nightly ritual and think
that a rose quartz is beneath your dignity to place in the Love/Marriage
corner, far be it for me to suggest anything but a candle to
ignite the flame of passion. If you are Christian, how about
a picture of THE MAN, and of course, you witches out there can
just put your Love Potion Incense there. Any of these things
are just as powerful as the other and can add spice to your
love life, when properly placed.
3. I have heard that you have to complete at least three (3)
cures in 72 hours after a consult or bad things will happen
to you.
I have some prime swamp land in Florida to sell you. Feng
Shui is to empower and enhance your life. Forget fear and fear
based literature about it. Breathe. Feng Shui is like acupuncture
for your home--it won't kill you if you don't do it, but you
might feel much better if you did. And my teachings always advise
a good dose of chocolate, whenever you feel like it.
