What the Feng is Feng Shui Anyway?!?

Far from being a New Age fad from the 90’s, Feng Shui has ancient Chinese roots, spanning back successfully for over 3500 years. Its philosophical foundations include Taoism (the inclusion of chi life force in all things), Chinese Astrology as well as its own branch of Chinese Medicine. Impressive but YAWN, who cares?

Life is hard and the world is fast. With over 8 billion people on the planet, living on a globe filled with cultural trends, social media frenzy, wars, natural disasters, high fashion, pollution, college applications, family therapy sessions, poverty, amazing music/art/theatre, fast cars, hunger thirst disparity, YouTube University, disappearing nature, tasty restaurants with carnivore, vegetarian or vegan choices, plus home delivery of any consumerism you could ever want—why would you ever need or even try to make your space a Feng Shui Temple of Balance?

Simple. Because Feng Shui makes living the day-to-day a whole lot better. As an official gypsy, who has found herself living in 10 different US states as well as 4 international countries, regardless of whether I resided in a family home, a dorm room, an apartment complex, a ranch house, a single-wide, a double-wide, a high rise, a mansion or (fill in the blank) and irrespective of if I resided alone, with roommates or alongside a sacred love partner—I have always consistently created a Feng Shui Temple of Balance.

To me, Feng Shui is an essential intentional activity, as it turns any space into a self-healing, consciousness-raising incubator. A potent spiritual practice, Feng Shui becomes the active meditation. Not only is it impossible to stay “asleep”, unaware, in a Feng Shui treated dwelling, its proven effectiveness has lasted over the millenniums, multiple ocean crossings and boasts millions of followers. Consistently, it brings happiness, health, love as well as manifested career and money goals to thousands of its lucky occupants each year.

Feng Shui has a goal manifestation and problem solving ability which holds your furniture and personal items in place to “stage” the solution to any issue as well as give you reflections of your dreams “as if” they have already occurred.  Powerful subconscious stuff. Deep psychological work that mimics and can even enhance therapy sessions outside of the home and office. Plus, Feng Shui brings happiness and beauty to your surroundings, as well as to the people who enter your treated space. And with advanced Feng Shui practices like The Intentional Candle Ceremony, it becomes possible to be a soother for yourself, others as well as for ecological, social, political and global issues in the world at large.

So what the Feng is Feng Shui? To name a few: a personal self-supporter, a mirror to the subconscious mind, a best friend, a happiness maker, a problem solver, a goal manifestation tool, an aphrodisiac to manifest sweet love, as well as a sacred activism planet saver which turns the living on earth into a life of purposeful thriving.
